I was just noodling around the other day and thought I would play a few chords and mess about a bit over the top of them.

It just started as a very simple I – IV – V – I chord progression in G, so G – C – D – G.

Then it sounded a little lonely so I gave it some very basic drums using the cubase pattern editor.

So we needed some bass, so I got my bass down off the wall and added a simple bassline.

A simple picked rhythmic accompaniment to the chord progression.

Some simple improvisation over the top, and then since that also sounded lonely, all on its own I improvised another line on the guitar.

I think you are getting the picture now, very simple, no belaboring any part of it.

What we have is some simple messing around, but I kind of like it. It makes me happy so I thought I would share.
