Fender American Professional II Stratocaster

This is my main guitar. I have had it for a few years now and I am incredibly happy with it.

It is a (paid link) Fender American Professional II Stratocaster. It is a fantastic blue color called Dark Night.

It plays like a dream and sounds great.

It has 3 V-Mod II single-coil pickups with the standard five-way selector switch, but also has an additional push button on one of the tone controls that allows you to switch in the neck pickup to allow any combination of pickups. It also has a 2-point tremolo bridge and cold-rolled steel block which functions really well.

The neck is smooth and fast and extremely playable.

I love how it holds its tuning even when using the tremolo, and the variety of sounds attainable are great, from clean and funky through crunchy dirt to searing lead.

Here are some audio clips of me messing around

A clean sound

A clean sound moving through the different pickup combinations

A dirty sound

Looks great. Plays great. Sounds great. What more can you ask for.
