Despite this being nearly 800 pages and very useful as a reference manual, I still read the whole thing through from start to finish. I had used Cubase back at about version 8 and needed something to get up to speed, my speed being admittedly rather slow, and I learned a huge amount from this book.

Even though a lot of things did not relate directly to my interests directly being more related to electronic music, the techniques, tips, and hints all stand up as tried and tested methods for music production.

The emphasis was on music technology as a whole, as implemented with Cubase, and appeared directed towards following a high school type curriculum.

I really enjoyed learning the many techniques presented in this book and it achieved my purpose in reading it, to gain a greater familiarity with Cubase 14.

I will definitely be keeping it around as a reference source.
