As a short follow up to yesterday’s post about my attempts to install (paid link) Dorico 6 on my (paid link) Apple M1 iMac I am happy to say that everything went well and was successful. There was a small hiccup with licenses as my Windows PC was registered as having Dorico installed on it twice due to the license being held over from when I had to reinstall the operating system on a different drive. This was straightforward to change deactivating the erroneous license.

Now I have Dorico 6 on the iMac and it all looks nice and swish. I have tested it and things seem to work as expected.
I have also installed an (paid link) AKAI MPK mini to use as a MIDI keyboard for entering notes and that works well too.

I am happy with progress there as it means that I can use Dorico on the mac and (paid link) Cubase 14 on the Windows machine.
